The fact of the matter is that it’s way easier to fall off track than it is to stay on track.

It is our goal at Veneration to make exercise a priority and the best hour of your day!

Here are some steps you can take to make the time in your schedule to get your workout in:

  1. Be honest with yourself.

    Instead of saying “I didn’t have time to workout today, tell the truth and say life happened and I didn’t make my health and wellness a priority today.”

    It’s okay! The key is making that statement happen less and less as you dive into creating a new lifestyle. How do you come back from that? Attend the very next class that is available. Even if it’s not your normal workout time. If there are no classes left in the day, eat a perfectly balanced meal the next meal and attend the very first class at 5:45am the next morning.

  2. Treat your hour of workout time just like you would treat a doctor’s appointment.

    You wouldn’t cancel a doctor’s appointment because you woke up more tired than you expected.

  3. Always remember why you started dedicating time to better yourself.

    What are you trying to accomplish by exercising? What are you trying to avoid? Everyone has their own “why”. Keep that in mind and I promise it will be enough to get out of bed in the morning or drive to the gym after a long day at work.

Battling the weak and negative thoughts becomes easier the more you do it. Put the work in to accomplish your “why” even on days that you would rather go home and binge watch your favorite TV show.
