Ron Lang Memorial Workout

This Saturday, May 10th at 9:00 AM, we’re coming together as a tribe to honor the life and legacy of our dear friend and longtime member, Ron Lang, with a memorial workout at Veneration.

Ron was the kind of man you don’t forget. He pulled into the lot in his old Dodge — that unmistakable rumble letting us know he was here — and walked through our doors with his DeWalt tool bag in hand. Not packed with wrenches or screwdrivers, but with gym gear. No frills. No fuss. Just the essentials — just like Ron.

He was part of our tribe for 2,879 days. That’s not a typo – over eight years of consistency, effort, and showing up no matter what. Through highs and lows, he was there — steady, dependable, and always with a kind word or a laugh to share.

Ron didn’t need the spotlight. He wasn’t chasing records. He was chasing something bigger — better health, a stronger life, and meaningful connection. He did the work because it mattered. Because it was right. And in doing so, he inspired everyone around him.

He spoke often — and proudly — about his family. You could see how deeply he loved them in everything he did. That same love showed up in the way he treated this community: with loyalty, generosity, gratitude and care.

This workout is for him.

Why Teams of 3?
Because Ron lived for connection — with his family, his friends, and this tribe. We move together as a team just like Ron.

This workout isn’t about the clock or the scoreboard. It’s about effort, heart, and legacy. It’s about honoring a man who gave so much and asked for nothing in return. A man whose dedication spoke louder than words — 2,879 days worth of action.

We’ll continue this tradition each year on his Veneration anniversary to carry forward the lessons Ron lived: train smart, work hard, live large.

Because heroes are remembered — but legends never die.

We’ll see you Saturday. Bring your effort. Bring your stories. Bring your best… for Ron.
